About me

I am a political scientist interested in comparative politics and especially in the comparison of South American and Eastern European dictatorships. I am mostly interested in the relation between art and politics in dictatorships (both cultural policies and artistic artifacts), as well as in post-dictatorial contexts. My most recent publications have focused on artistic remembrance in Romania and Chile with an accent on visual arts’ (contemporary art).

I am Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science/Faculty of Political Science (FSP), University of Bucharest.
